Real Mini Coopers

Posted in General on May 20th, 2010 by Rahi – Be the first to comment

With over 5 million Mini’s being made (not all Coopers though) you would think finding a good example would be like shopping for an F150. However due to their increasing collectability (especially the Coopers – both the UK and Japanese collector market love them!!!) and their weakness for rust, finding excellent condition examples is a skill set all of it’s own. With our UK office placed in the heart of England and connections in the Trade and Mini Enthusiast circles, we are in a perfect position to act quickly in securing only the best Coopers when they become available in the largest selection available (we have seen cars coming over from Japan, but shopping there – your choice is limited). If you interested in getting an aethrntic (not made in Germany) one you just have to go and take a look at this guys realminicoopers.

New york city garbage art. Do you want yours?

Posted in Daily checklist, General, Weird and funny on May 20th, 2010 by Rahi – Be the first to comment

One man’s garbage is another man’s treasure. But New York City’s garbage, well, that’s art.

NYC Garbage started as an experiment in packaging design. The project, evolved out from an argument over the importance of packaging to the consumer. To prove that he’s right, Justin started to pack up some garbage in a nice package cube. Each tightly sealed box comes with a “Garbage of New York City” label and a small sticker with the date that the trash was picked. They are also signed and numbered.

Several years and more than 1,200 sales later, the cubes now go for as much as $100 from the starting price of $10. Well, that because the garbage now considered art.

Frame Bag, how cool is this?

Posted in General on May 16th, 2010 by Rahi – Be the first to comment

FRAME BAG – FOR YOUR LUNCH BOX OR LAPTOP
Who says that bicycle bags always have to look like … bicycle bags? Even 100 years ago the rock-solid frame bags for Swiss military bikes proved its worth. We picked up this idea, modified its format and usability for everyday use and designed it with RETROVELO style.

Compatible with many classic bike frames with horizontal top tubes, the ORIGINAL RETROVELO frame bag is the first that provides two compartments for either A4 notebooks or laptops. It is thrown quickly over the top tube and fastened with two belt hooks and a TENAX button on the seat tube.
The bag is completely made of 2 mm thick full-leather, available in brown or black and its outside measures are 36x12X30 cm (lxbxh).
Thus your valuables are cleverly transported – unique and chic and without additional racks or a sweaty backpack.
